Organic Cotton
Saying yes to organic cotton = saying no to pesticides, insecticides, genetically modified crops, and mechanised farming practices (A.K.A. all the yucky stuff that shouldn’t belong in making our clothes).
Zero Pesticides
Organic cotton also uses 91% less water than traditional cotton to be grown, reduces levels of water pollution by 98% as compared to conventional cotton, and creates 46% fewer greenhouse gas emissions. It’s kind of a big deal.
Recycled Polyester
Recycled polyester is the good cop to virgin polyester’s bad cop. It has a dramatically lower environmental impact versus traditional polyester. How much lower? Let us count the ways: it diverts plastic from landfills, prevents plastic from ending up in waterways and harming marine life, produces less greenhouse gas emissions during production and processing, and reduces reliance on petroleum as a raw material.
